This week at ReviewMe.co.za is Responsible Drinking week. We all know that over the festive season everybody enjoys having a “little” drink here and there, but how does this affect others? Did you know that more than 50% of all road deaths are directly linked to drinking and driving? Did you know that you can get a criminal record for drunken driving? Did you know that drinking while pregnant can lead to Fetal Alcohol Syndrome? Will you do the right thing?
During this week my team and I will be reviewing various campaigns from various alcohol brands to promote responsible drinking. We will also be speaking to victims of drinking and driving and discussing how responsible drinking will aid your lifestyle. One of the best campaigns I have seen/heard to date is the “Pappa wag vir jou” advert by brandhouse. I won’t go into detail about this as it will be reviewed during the course of this week. I will however say that the impact this has on its viewers/listeners is something to be remembered when getting into a car and considering to drive under the influence.

Zero tolerance is the only method that will bring down the numbers of drinking and driving. The limit is only giving ppl an excuse too drink and drive.
I don’t think many people realize that with a criminal record you pretty much kill any chance you have to be working overseas.
I;m going to Canada soon and now only use Roadtrip, Good Fellas or sleep over. Be smart about it.
