Lovoka looked to create a digital campaign that would engage the body of its online followers. The brief was that it should be fun, quirky and most of all, enjoyable. Nano Social Media in association with ReviewMe.co.za was tasked to develop an application which gave away Afrojack tickets to Lovoka’s loyal followers. By doing this, Lovoka would gain crucial online exposure whilst being able to reward their loyal followers.
How does the campaign work?
Anybody can enter this competition provided they are over 18, have internet access and have a Facebook account. You visit the Lovoka fanpage (http://www.facebook.com/LovokaSA) and click on the #FillTheBottle Tab. This will direct you to the app which gives you a choice of the way you wish to enter. If users do not have twitter, they simply fill out a standard form and get entered into a separate draw. Users which have Twitter get to interact a lot more with the app and get to tweet a personalised message which contains tags for @LovokaSA and @NanoSocialMedia as well as the hashtag #FillTheBottle. Once the message is tweeted, it causes the bottle level to rise. When the bottle’s caramel vodka reaches the top, the tickets will have all run out.
