Wine Tasting at Groot Constantia…

Groot Constantian, is the oldest wine producing estate in South Africa producing wine since 1685. The likes of, Charles Dickens, Frederick the Great, King Louis Phillipe of France to Napoleon (who by the way got 30 bottles of Vin de Constance a month shipped to  St Helena to ease his exile.) have all sampled some of their fine wines. So why not sample a piece of history while you’re at it.

Take a tour of the Diamond Museum…

The Shimansky Museum is situated at the Clock Tower of the V&A Waterfront and allows you to experience the enchanting world of diamonds. You will learn various facts about the diamond-greats such as: Cecil John Rhodes, Oppenheimer family and how South Africa became one of the world’s top diamond producing countries.

Boomslang Walkway in Kirstenbosch…

Take in the beautiful flora and waterways of Kirstenbosch while you’re 12m above ground on the Boomslang walkway which spans a massive 130m in length.  This way you have an unrestricted beautiful view of the gardens, mountain and Cape Town’s Southern Suburbs.

Plus side is that there is no extra cost to walk the bridge this is included in your entrance fee.

Indoor climbing…
