There comes a time in all our lives where grandma and/or grandpa need to accept that they can no longer live alone and in this hilarious family-comedy film, Sally (Uma Thurman), has the tough job of convincing grandpa (Robert De Niro) to come stay with them in their home.
As far as most grandparent / grandchild relationships go, Peter (Oakes Fegley) and his grandpa (Robert De Niro) were pretty close; until Grandpa Jack moves in with the family and Peter is forced to give up his most prized possession: his bedroom. The events that ensue leads Peter down a path of mischievous destruction.
Peter will stop at nothing to get his room back from his grandpa, scheming with friends to come up with a series of crafty pranks to drive him out. Grandpa – on the other hand, won’t give up that easily, and turns this little spat into an all-out war between the two providing perfect entertainment and laughs for the whole family.
